Geocache Description:

Lyn Pat and Nathan

This cache pays tribute to Lyn Pat and Nathan, who have been caching since March 2001, as at March 2020 they had found over 5400 caches and placed 65 hides. Lyn Pat and Nathan placed the 1st cache in Western Australia, GC576 Albany Quarantine. They also have a Virtual cache in the Gallipoli National Park in Turkey. True pioneers of the West Australian geocaching landscape.

SOUTH WEST HIGHWAY TRAIL

The South West Highway(SWH ) trail celebrates those active cachers in the West who have contributed to Geocaching in Western Australia. The series travels along the South West Highway, which is a stretch of road that stretches from Armadale all the way to Picton close to Bunbury.

The highway does not actually enter Bunbury - it stops at the industrial suburb of Picton, following Robertson Drive (Bunbury's ring road) for 1 km south before turning southeast past Bunbury Airport towards Boyanup. It continues for another 255km to Walpole, to give it a total length of 414km

You are welcome to hide a cache along the SWH, but please keep the cache name format the same, eg SWH...******

Please don't hide a cache unless you or a sponsor can maintain it.
