Geocache Description:

Welcome to Mt. Zion Cemetary! This cemetery was honored by the Ohio Historical Society in 2003 for the many veterans and prominent grave markers that date back to the early 1800's. Among those buried there are Revolutionary War Lieutenants, Civil War soldiers, and family plots of prominent Clermontville citizens the Parkers and the Fridmans. William Fridman once wrote " looking down the valley and the Kentucky hills beyond, I exclaimed Peaceful Valley". We also happen to think this is an incredibly peaceful spot with a wonderful view so take a moment to enjoy. Please abide by all cemetery rules.Open dawn to dusk.
