The cache is not at the posted coordinates. This puzzle cache begins at the end of the annual Farmington Memorial Day parade in Memorial Park near the Veterans Memorial. One of the Farmington area high school marching bands plays at the post-parade ceremony here.
The first spot to visit is the Veterans Memorial. This marker commemorates Farmington area veterans who served in the Civil War, Spanish-American War and World War I.
What year was the monument dedicated? Ignore the first digit. The last three digits equal ABC.
The second spot to visit is across Grand River near the Farmington Municipal Offices. There is a piece of a small girder from the World Trade Center attached to the 9/11 monument here.
How many square inches are in the black area of the monument? Ignore the first digit. The last three digits equal DEF.
The final spot to visit is in Women's Park and a memorial marker here for Joshua Rosenthal. Joshua worked on the 94th floor of the South Tower of the World Trade Center. I did not know him. However, his father, Skip, lived down the street from me and owned the downtown bookstore Books Abound that used to be next to the Farmington Civic. You may remember Skip. During warm weather he could be found outside his store playing the banjo.
How old was Joshua when he died? Equals GH.
