A roadside cache in beautiful Sugar Hill, near two of its iconic buildings, a classic church building and the Sampler. Located on a quiet road, with no residences, and nary a person around on the day it was placed. This is a large camoed peanut butter jar, with room for swag, tbs, etc.
Our little group of NH and VT geocachers gather every so often at a local pancake house to talk geocaching, trade tbs, and eat brunch. Our most recent event was interrupted by a pandemic. Although the organizers reworked the requirements so we would follow social distancing protocol, and meet 6 feet from each other while outside in the parking lot, cold wet weather further discouraged attendance. It also happened to be the last day the pancake house would offer take out, and none of us know when it and all the other dining room restaurants in NH will reopen.
I placed this cache to commemorate this historic time, and to encourage individual cachers to keep caching, while keeping a safe distance from other humans. Stay safe and stay well.
