The Glacier Park Trail is our favorite place in CT for a quick hike. The blue trail is a one mile loop that takes you down and then back up a ravine filled with massive boulders left behind by the retreating glaciers. The hike can be somewhat challenging at this point. The yellow trail by-passes the ravine climb making for a shorter, but still pleasant walk in the woods.
Small lock & lock located about 25' off the trail in an outcropping of boulders, on a rock shelf. Please take care to replace it back in the same spot so it doesn't fall down into the leaf litter.
Good luck and enjoy the hike!
