The year 2020 has by all accounts gotten off to a pretty brutal start to our local community.
First it was Snowmageddon that dumped over 80 cm of snow on us in 24 hours, this resulted in an 8 day State of Emergency.
The latest has been the world wide outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. Now we are currently in another state of emergency of sorts.
While Snomageddon, brought everyone together. Neighbor helping neighbor, the Covid-19 virus has driven us apart, self isolation's and social distancing protocols have become our new normal.
Through all of this we have experienced a band of workers that have been deemed essential to keep our communities going. Braving their own health and well being to keep the rest of us healthy and fed. To you, I say Thank you.
This little series is a small tribute to the workers at these cache locations.
This cache pays tribute to the staff of Maries Mini Mart and all other neighborhood convenience stores, at this location and all the others in our community. Our small neighborhood convenience stores are still open providing the vital service that we have all taken for granted.
This cache is a quick Park and Grab. Stealth will be needed for this one folks.
