This is another one of our public caches. We just replaced and relocated this cache, the original was located in what is now clear cut, hopefully this area will avoid the same fate. You are looking for a camo wrapped peanut butter jar filled with trinkets and a log. This entire section of forest is open to the public for activities such as hunting, snowmobiling etc. Years ago there used to be a big wooden "smokey the bear" fire sign out along hwy 80 in front of this land tract. Sadly it decayed over time and was replaced with a more modern sign that lacks any character at all but should serve as a hint to general area.. Anyway, please try to avoid looking for this cache during the Wisconsin deer gun season, this whole area is heavily hunted by a large number of people. If you do go, Wear lots of blaze orange and be careful. If you are lucky enough to find, please sign our log and trade trinkets. When you are finished please reseal the log in the zip-lock and make sure container lid is on tight to keep dry.
