To find this cache, you will go to an area of Buchanan County that you may not have visited in a while. Hike-n-Seek X brought many people to the county. Many of the caches placed for 2013 event remain active. You should seek those caches while you are in the area for this cache.
On April 13, 2019, I traveled to Mason City to attend the event GC84GY0 Creation Celebrations ~ Fond Memories, hosted by Parentsof4Ks. While there, I won a door prize, a matchstick container. It has taken nearly a year, but I finally found the right place to hide this container.
If you have the opportunity to travel to Mason City, I recommend seeking caches placed by Parentsof4Ks. They are responsible for half of the Mr. Toot series of caches about The Music Man, Meredith Willson, and Mason City. Also, they have a very popular letterbox, GC7B569 Little Free Library Letterbox & Travel Bug Hotel that I still have not earned the smiley for signing the log. It is great to have people like Parentsof4Ks placing caches for the rest of us to find.
