This cache is hidden along the Dutch Flat Trail in Joseph D. Grant County Park, or Grant Ranch. Grant Ranch is usually a quiet and peaceful place to hike, especially once you get out a few miles past the main parking and picnic area. This little pond isn't marked on the map -- maybe because it's outside the park boundary, or maybe it just doesn't have a name. It does have a lovely old, mossy fence that demands you stop and take pictures of it.
You're looking for a small plastic container along the fence. The difficulty level is for the many possible hiding spots and the potential for tall grass, but it's not intended to be a difficult hide. The hint is spoiler level. The Dutch Flat loop is roughly 7 - 9 miles r/t, depending on which trail you choose for your return.
Joseph D. Grant hours are 8:00am to sunset. Unfortunately, parking is very limited along the road, so you'll have to show a county parks pass or pay the fee. Happy hunting!
