BYOP , the a horsey kinda thing. Trail Head Parking lot off Gravel Road easy access, to this Cache. Make a loop out of it for approx 4 miles. Fourth in a series I hope to place around the county, honoring special horses, and pets. This cache is a tribute to my hubby's beautiful horse Sailor. Sailor and hubby and myself, I was riding Fanci horse, in the saddle, at the time I hid this cache! (first hint),
In honor of Sailor horse, at the time placed, 24years old, Spotted Saddle Horse breed. Placed at the beginning (or end depending on your direction of travel) of a little game, hiking trail that connect this quite little hidden valley to the official East Mesa Trail. Look uphill and SWS for the way over the hill to the Ease Mesa Trail, 0.13 mi from this point. OR on 1.08 mil to the Cave Canyon Rd, turn South then continue 1.0 mile to the Devil's Canyon Trail Head Parking. Total in all approx. 4 mile loop.
So here’s to Sailor, a very good boy, and great little good willing trail horse, we've owned since he hit the trails with us as a 4 year old.. A Black and White Spotted Saddle Horse gelding. He's carried my Hubby safely over hundreds or miles of trails, and at least 15 US States. A heart of gold , almost spook proof, he hates black cows, and entertained Grandkids too!
