The Dalton Gang became well-known outlaws in the late 1800s, especially notorious for robbing banks and trains.Â
Their last stand happened when they attemted a feat that no outlaws have attempted before - robbing two banks at once! Unfortunately, they made one small but deadly mistake by deviating from their original plan. When they arrived in town, the location where they planned to hitch their horses, thus where their escape would be made, was not available due to unexpected road construction, and therefore they had to hitch their horses in an alley a ways away.
As a citizen in town, you notice these men walking from their horses, and you immediately recognize them as the wanted outlaws in the poster above. You report to Sheriff Checker exactly where the men are going (before they split up), and he will give you a reward.
Be sure to look on the inside of the back cover of the logbook for a clue to the bonus cache.
