Caching and reading are two of my favorite things. What better way to celebrate caching than to combine them?
As a parent, I know how much my son loved when I read to him any time, day or night, but bedtime stories were truly special. From the time he was tiny, we enjoyed books together that made us laugh, catch our breath, taught us things, and made us want to read more. As a teacher, I know that reading aloud to young children is the best way to jump start their learning. The time spent together is always cherished by little ones too. I hope you enjoy this caching series!
I discovered the book Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds while reading to my students. The group loved the suspense and could relate to the main character, Jasper Rabbit. He loved carrots so much that he may have helped himself to some from Crackenhopper Field. The carrots turn creepy and start following him everywhere, tunk tunk tunk. I won't give the ending away, but be careful as you look for this creepy carrot!
Once you find the container, please open gently. The lid seems to come off easier with a little twist. Please re-hide well.
