This is the site of the former settlement of Neptune. A post office was in use here from 1880-1905. St. Joseph church was established here around 1880 and the most recent church building lasted from 1926-2011. In its heyday it served 125 farm families. With the gradual reduction in the number of farms, the diocese closed the building and it was torn down. All that is left now is the cemetery and the former rectory. Should be an easy grab if my coords are accurate. Please treat the surroundings here with peace and reverance.
