This is Pine Grove Cemetery in Thornhurst. Founded in 1839, it was originally part of the Chamberlain Estate. It now belongs to the residents of Thornhurst. There are over 200 markers here, and not all of them have names.
Locals have taken on the responsibility of care for the acre and a half plot, and may be there as you search. Be kind to the stones, and maybe they will tell you a tale of long ago.
