Deep in the wilderness of South West Greene county, lies and enchanted forest. Many come to this location to hunt and fish. But underneath the canopy of the forest lies a secret world of fairies, gnomes and trolls. There lives a gnome in the forest who has acquired great wealth. He is a hermit of a gnome, living alone on the mountaintop counting his gold. Once late at night when the moon was full, three fairy sisters were flying about the forest and down below in the darkness they heard a gnomes voice saying a strange riddle. At the end of the trail are stripes of blue, the height of your climb a power line view, Stand in the middle, of two perfect V's, look to your left for a clump that is three. West of that tree is one that looks braided. Under its vines, my gold you have raided. The fairies were so frightened they flew off in opposite directions with the pink twins only able to record the Latitude. The blue fairy sister was only able to record the Longitude. Together they hold the keys to finding the gnomes gold. You must seek out the pink fairy twins at stage 1. for they have the Latitude of the gnomes gold. find the twins at the posted coordinates. Collect the latitude and get the coordinates for their sister the Blue Fairy stage 2. Once you find the blue fairy she will give you the longitude of the gnomes gold. Now you are armed with the coordinates you need for the final push to find "The Gnomes Gold". Waiting for the FTF is a trackable FTF gold Geo medal. The gnome did not activate it. This is not a park and grab. Although parking at several locations may prove to be prudent. This is the game lands so there are plenty of places to park. Also be aware of potential hunter muggles with guns that can mistake you for game. Please wear some amount of orange in the regular hunting seasons.You will want your day pack, with a bottle or two of water,definitely some bug spray, duct tape for the bottoms of your pants legs so the ticks cannot crawl up your leg unnoticed. Depending on the route you take some degree of bush wacking through thorns and high tick infested weeds may be required. Possible muddy trails and water crossings, not the wade through type water crossing, but the get your boots wet, slip and fall type of crossing. Once again depending on the route you take.
