Happy 20th Birthday Geocaching! To celebrate I hiked the Whale Cove / Sam's Point Trail sytem. What a beautiful, under-utilized trail system. We enjoyed a picnic lunch, fairly easy hike, a beautiful beach, gorgeous views of Mabou Harbour and the Mabou Highlands, and saw some wildlife. This location is what caching is all about. Trails are well marked with arrows on most turns and interpretive signage on each intersection. The four caches we placed are WF and a simple pill bottle in a tree. Happy caching everyone.
