About this cache:

From South parking (Please do not block the gate.), follow the John Wert Path (red blazes) SW until you come to the Uniontown Rod-Gun Club cabin.  Then take Shingle Path (yellow blazes) NW.  After you cross a foot bridge over Sinking creek, you will begin a short (about 120 foot) steep uphill climb.  My 8 year old geoson made it up, and down, with no problem.

From North parking, follow the Shingle path SE. Immediately after crossing a "bridge" consisting of one 8x8, the trail will split. Take the right split. There are two yellow blazes on a tree giving you this information, but the blazes are almost totally hidden by rhododendron. You can go straight, but that part of the trail can be very wet and muddy especially after it rains. If you go straight, you'll need to go left at the next trail intersection.

At the top of Shingle Path, on the East side of the trail, you will find an interesting geological feature.  The cache is hidden less than ten feet away.

UPDATE... 8/23/2020 - the bridge is complete and Bear Meadows Road is open to vehicle traffic.
At the time of cache submission, the bridge on Bear Meadows Road was under construction and is closed to traffic. Be sure to approach from the Colyer Lake direction as noted in the additional waypoint section.

Be sure to wear orange during hunting season.

Be sure to bring bug spray.

A special thank you to Mattress Gnome for supplying an unactivated TB for the FTF.
