Geocache Description:

Chittick's Comma Club Challenge: A series of challenge caches designed to give cacher approaching 1,000 finds something to aim for.

This is a challenge cache and as such, you cannot claim the find until you've accomplished the requirements of the challenge. The requirements of this challenge are that you complete your fizzy grid out to a 3.5/3.5 level.

Ok, so some of you are asking "what is a Fizzy?" Others are saying "I have 12 Fizzy's. What are you getting at, Chittick10?"

A Fizzy is the colloquial name for completing your D/T grid. One cache in each of the game's difficulty and terrain ratings. There are a total of 81 of them including all the permutations of whole numbers and half numbers. As you approach 1,000 finds, you'll notice that level 3 caches of either type start to become easier and you start to find more of them, until the upper left portion of your D/T grid on your stats page starts to take up what appears to be more than half the grid. The funny thing is, that despite there only being 5 levels, if you finish all of the Difficulty 3/Terrain 3 portion of the grid, you've only filled 25 boxes on that grid, not even a 1/3rd of it. So keep this challenge in line with hitting 1,000 caches, I decided on 3.5/3.5, which is 36 caches. Not yet half of your grid, but the closest to half of 81 of all the matching boxes you can create and most inline with folks closing in on 1,000 finds. I filled up my 3.5's with my 837th find while caching in Lynchburg. As of writing up this challenge, I'm at about 1850 finds and still have a 1.5/4.0 and a 3.5/4.0 left to fill out the 4.0's.

Check out this post on the official Geocaching blog to find out more about Fizzy challenges (and other challenges that you'll likely find a halfsy version of within this set of caches eventually!)

All previous finds count, so those with a completed fizzy already qualify. All cache types count (except lab caches, which aren't given a D/T level). There's is a challenge checker at the bottom of this description, and if it's says you're good, you're good! Difficulty reflects what's needed to qualify, terrain reflects terrain of ground zero.

Congrats to SarahShift1 on the FTF!
