Tutti conoscono l'aeroporto di Pisa-San Giusto, intitolato a Galileo Galilei, principlae aeroporto della città di Pisa e della Toscana. In realtà, ingrandendo opportunamente le mappe, si scopre che esiste un altro aeroporto situato alle porte di Montacchiello. Qui ha sede il Gruppo Aeromodellistico Pisa Livorno (GAPL), che gestisce il campo di volo, dotato di una pista di 100 metri in asfalto con orientamento 06/24 circondato da ampie zone in erba ed alcune infrastrutture per i soci.
La cache è un piccolo contenitore in plastica, nascosta a breve distanza dal campo di volo. Siate discreti, e godetevi il volo degli aerei. Buona ricerca!
Everyone knows the Pisa-San Giusto airport, named after Galileo Galilei, the main airport of the city of Pisa and of the whole Tuscany. However, by appropriately zooming into the maps, it turns out that there is another airport located at the edge of Montacchiello. Here there is the seat of Pisa Livorno Model Aircraft Group (GAPL), which manages the airfield, equipped with a 100m asphalt runway with orientation 06/24 surrounded by large grass areas and some infrastructure for members.
