This used to be home to a cache last found just about a decade ago. After I and another cacher couldn't find it, it was administratively archived for lack of owner response. I originally had plans to hunt for the cache back on August 28th, 2009, just a month after a previous find of this year and a half old cache. Unfortunately, events conspired against me and kept me from the mountain until June of 2011, the first opportunity to come back to this area (don't know how the cacher in 2010 lucked out).
I have been by a couple times since and each time there was a tug to hunt a bit more for the cache that just had to be wedged someplace I hadn't looked. Well, I have given up the ghost for finding that old one, so I left one of my own in the same spot I thought the original was hid. It is only a pill bottle, so hopefully, this one will last longer than the previous.
This is about a seven or more mile hike to grab, so plan accordingly. Take plenty of water and watch where you step and reach, some critters might take exception to that.
