This cache will take you to a rarely visited beautiful waterfall in Northern Iceland known as Migandi / Hjallafoss in Vatnsdalur valley, only 5 minute drive from Ring Road 1 so it's a perfect occasion to stretch your legs during a long drive .
The water falls from very high basaltic columns which forms spectacular semicircular wall in a ravine.
The cache is located about 200 m from the road uphill towards the waterfall. You can leave a car just by the road and walk up, it should take no more than 10 minutes to get the cache (see SPOILER photos if you need help).
If you want to try your luck and you are more experienced hiker you also can climb a bit higher to the basaltic pillars where you might find some geodes and crystals between the loose rocks.
