This cache is a reincarnation and relocation of The Mighty Oak (GC29FMY) which was archived following a change of CO in 2017. The new cache, now named "The Mighty Chestnut" lies on a public footpath a few hundred yards west of the original and is about a mile from the village of Burley in Wharfedale. There is no parking nearby and the path is not suitable for wheelchairs, Approach from the Railway Station by exiting platform 1, turning left (east) on to Hag Farm Road. After about 500 yards, clear of the houses, enter a fielld on the right via a new galvanised gate, follow the footpath into the woodland, over a swamoy area then climbing toward the QZ at What3words location Coverings Film Airlines. This footpath leads to The Hermit pub and a whole network of footpaths and bridle ways over Burley, Ilkley and ajoining moors. The cache itself is a small Official Gecache canister containing a log, a small pencil, with room for some very small swaps starting with a glass marble, a jewel and a stud!
