This is the 5th cache in the Coggeshall to Kelvedon stroll series. The loop can be completed in 3 hours and is 9 miles long. The route starts in Coggeshall town centre, you walk up Grange hill and head down towards the historic Abbey, walking along the river Blackwater, this stretch is one of the most beautiful parts of Essex. You then walk around a short loop (where this geocache is located). After this you head towards Kelvedon, you walk through blackcurrant fields. When you arrive in Kelvedon you can take a detour for a bite to eat. After this you walk behind the Kelvedon station car park and then head up a track. There are a series of footpaths and tracks which then lead you up to Pantlings lane the long path is covered on both sides by trees and is very picturesque. Just before the end of this turn right and you follow a path onto the road. Then follow a footpath across the field and you get to the Essex way. Follow this path for a short while and then you take a left down to the river. You then walk past Coggeshall Football Club. To finish off your walk, you walk down West street in Coggeshall. After the loop you can have a bite to eat.
