Enjoy a nice walk along the Hermon Recreation Trail (HRT) and log a cache while you're at it! The trail is well maintained. It's a great place for a quiet nature walk. Take a moment to learn about the trees and wild plants that are marked along the trail. The HRT is maintained by the Town of Hermon and is just a little under 2 miles in length.
How you park to access the trail is up to you. There's parking available at either end of the trail. Parking is available behind the High School or the playground at the Elementary School.
The cache is located about 20 steps off the trail on the snowmobile trail that intersects with the HRT. You are looking for a plastic look alike ammo can.
A pencil is included in the cache as well as some loot. Happy Caching!
