Welcome to the Lanier Springs Nature Trail Cache Collection!
This trail is a new addition to our neighborhood and needs usage to help keep the paths well marked and keep the vegetation down.
A few important notes - please read all of these and be respectful.
1. Entry to any cache in this series is via the trailheads only. If you enter somewhere that's not a trailhead, you're trespassing - simple as that. No Exceptions!!! This is how you can tell it's a trailhead :-)
2. Parking: Street parking - please be respectful of the neighborhood and treat it as you would your own. Do not park directly across from another vehicle and block up the road.
3. Please see the included map. Note that it's not North oriented (North is to the right - roughly). All the caches are within feet of the trail. There is no need for extensive bushwhacking, so don't do that. Also, there is no need (in fair weather) to ever cross water sans bridge, so don't do that either.
4. Trail hours are from dawn till dusk. Be respectful of the neighborhood and community. Realize that the trail backs up to houses and people can hear you quite easily.
5. I highly recommend that you bring a hiking stick and avoid pursuing in wet weather. Trails are quite rough, steep and potentially slick (even in good conditions)
