Keperra Bushland Reserve covers 150 hectares and provides a bush oasis within 16 kilometres from Brisbane's Central Business District.
The bushland forms one of the city’s most significant terrestrial ecological corridors, linking Enoggera Military Reserve and the D’Aguilar National Park. The reserve supports remnant, native vegetation and significant habitat for numerous native species, including some koala activity. Due to the topography of the area, there is potential for extensive views of Moreton Bay, the Great Dividing Range, Glass House Mountains and Brisbane City at various points on the ridges.
The recent expansion of the bushland now provides a link between Keperra and The Gap.
If you are fit you can even ride a Mountain Bike through some of the new fire trail routes and avoid Settlement Road.
