Upper Kedron is located 12 kilometres north-west of the Brisbane CBD. Upper Kedron is a residential suburb on the edge of the Brisbane Forest Park (South D'Aguilar National Park)
The suburb contains the headwaters of the two tributaries of Kedron Brook, namely Kedron Creek and Cedar Creek.
Despite the similarity of their names, the Brisbane suburbs of Upper Kedron and Kedron are 15.3 kilometres apart. A bit like “Little Aspley” that is Strathpine in the 1970’s.
Controversial plans to link the new suburb to Mt Nebo Road have not been approved and a Green Space Corridor will continue to link the Keperra Bushland with South D'Aguilar National Park.
This cache is hidden in one of the new sections of the extended Keperra Bushland Reserve. You can now link Keperra, Upper Kedron and The Gap through this reserve.
