Infinty8 (Ted) is working on a challenge to get each cache type for all 12 months. Due to the current circumstances he will not finish it until next April from the lack of events that month.
This morning when I walked into work, he informed me in no uncertain terms that he was not waiting until June to finish and that I should put an event together. I thought about it and said I would and that I was naming it "Ted needs a June Event". He liked it but did not want me to name drop his caching name "Infinity8". I told him I was anyway as that should drum up some people. (Everyone we meet knows who Infinity8 is).
The plan was to do the event in our work parking lot, which has tables and shade, but since the rigmarole to get it done there was too much for my liking I decided on this spot instead. I reckon everyone can bring a chair or blanket with an umbrella to keep out the Sun, if you so decide, and we can all sit around, social distance and talk about caching. Also it is by the fishing pond in case anyone decides they would prefer to fish.
I will see about rustling up some sort of individually wrapped snack that I will handle with gloves so as not to cause any concern as well as maybe some travel bugs for trading or something. I will get some clorox wipes to wipe them down before trading and hand sanitizer for when they switch hands.
Otherwise it will be from 2:30 PM to 3 PM or when everyone leaves.
