Der Peršmanhof, gelegen in Bad Eisenkappel/Železna Kapla, war ein Partisan*innenstützpunkt im Zweiten Weltkrieg.
Am 25. April 1945 wurde durch NS-Einheiten ein Massaker an vier Erwachsenen und sieben Kindern der Familien Sadovnik und Kogoj verübt. Heute befindet sich in dem ehemaligen Bauernhof ein Museum zu Geschichte und Widerstand der Kärntner Slowen*innen während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus.
Am 25. April 1965 fand eine erste Gedenkfeier am Peršmanhof statt, in deren Rahmen eine slowenischsprachige Gedenktafel am Ort des Geschehens installiert wurde.
1983 wurde am Vorplatz des Hauses das Denkmal des antifaschistischen Widerstandes wiedererrichtet: Dieses befand sich ursprünglich seit 1947 in Völkermarkt/Velikovec, wurde jedoch 1953 von unbekannten Täter*innen gesprengt. Das Denkmal konnte wegen der politischen Verhältnisse in Kärnten/Koroška nicht mehr an seinem ursprünglichen Ort aufgestellt werden.

The Peršmanhof, located in Bad Eisenkappel / Železna Kapla, was a partisan base during World War II.
On April 25, 1945, Nazi units carried out a massacre of four adults and seven children of the Sadovnik and Kogoj families. Today, the former farm house is used as a museum on the history and resistance of Carinthian Slovenes during the Nazi era.
On April 25, 1965, a first commemoration took place at the Peršmanhof, during which a commemorative plaque in Slovenian was installed at the scene.
In 1983 the memorial to the anti-fascist resistance was rebuilt on the forecourt of the house: it had originally been in Völkermarkt / Velikovec since 1947, but was blown up by unknown perpetrators in 1953. Due to the political situation in Carinthia / Koroška, the monument could no longer be erected in its original location.
