Nothing Better To Do - Day 75
What are you going to do when you have nothing better to do? Go geocaching of course.
We decided to go on a streak of placing caches while we had nothing better to do, until we had something better to do. We didn't quite think 2 months + of doing this, but hey, it's fun and something to do
We've been looking at placing some caches in the neighborhood, and today was Day 75 of doing so. I hope we have enough containers for however long we have nothing better to do. It's been fun coming up with new containers to recycle and reuse, as well as finding new paths in the area. Gives us something to do. This will be the largest hide we've done, in honor of our 75th Cache placed with Nothing Better to Do.
We figured we'd set up some sort of neighborhood power trail and have been setting them as close to .1 mile from each other. We started switching sides of the road each cache so you can go out one way and back the other no matter where you start, this lasted the first 20 days. Then we decided to just do a big loop around the neighborhood. That got us to 32. Now we're going to just start wandering around other neighborhoods too. That got us to Day 47. Now we're exploring other parts of the area and nice walking trails we've felt could use a cache or two. We kind of filled up Vallejo's trails, and started working on Benicia and American Canyon too now. I've been researching trails and places by satellite, I feel I know my neighborhood pretty well from space now, and probably yours too.
We'll keep going until we get something better to do...
