Slēpnis atrodas Ķengaragā, Rīgas pilsētas apkaimē Latgales priekšpilsētā. Ķengaraga apkaimes kopējā platība ir 5,190 km², kas aptuveni atbilst vidējam apkaimes platības rādītājam Rīgā. Noteiktās apkaimes robežas dabā ir skaidri nolasāmas, kas attiecīgi atvieglo šīs teritorijas uztveramību kā telpiski vienotai un funkcionāli savstarpēji saistītai telpai jeb apkaimei. Tomēr, ņemot vērā Ķengaraga apkaimes salīdzinoši lielo platību, apdzīvojuma raksturu un izteikti lineāro formu, šajā apkaimē komercdarbība galvenokārt notiek gar šīs apkaimes galveno maģistrāli — Maskavas ielu. Attiecīgi Ķengaragā nav arī viena konkrēta vietējā centra, lai gan kā galvenos centra funkciju koncentrējošos punktus uz Maskavas ielas var identificēt Ķengaraga tirgu un tirdzniecības centru "Dole". Savukārt slēpnis atrodas pie atsevišķi mazākajiem centriem, kuri iezīmējas ap Prūšu un Rušonu ielu.
Blakus slēpnim atrodas dzīvojamie nami, kas celti dažādos gadsimtos. Netālu atrodas Rīgas Lietuviešu vidusskola, kas ir dibināta 1991. gadā.

Accordingly, there is no one specific local center in Kengarags, although the main points of concentration of the center on Maskavas Street can be identified as the Kengarags market and the shopping center "Dole". The hideout is located near some of the smallest centers around Prūšu and Rušonu streets.
Next to the hideout are residential houses built in different centuries. Nearby is Riga Lithuanian Secondary School, which was founded in 1991.
