- A = Number of red johnny pumps to the north, multiplied by 2
- C = Number of horizontal straps on the ladder cage going up the fire tower
- E = Number of skylight openings visible on the roof of the fire tower from here
- B = Go south to a plaque on a rock at the base of the flagpole. B is the number representing the month of the year when this was dedicated.
