The Tennyson Power Station was a coal-fired power station which operated between 1953 and 1986. It was shut down and developed into the Queensland Tennis Centre and Tennyson Reach apartments. In 2002 the Opening scene of Scooby-Doo was filmed at the Power Station.
The cache is a medium-sized camouflaged container. Be careful searching around the area as there are loose bricks and debris everywhere. You can see the cache when standing at the plaque.
