Ever since the formation of MIG (Mid-Illini Geocachers), I have dreamt of an Event where CIGA and MIG can come together in one place, at one time. The place is George Doering Park shelter in East Peoria, and the time is 11am-2pm on June 11.
We are having a picnic
To celebrate getting back to having events again, MIG and CIGA are holding a joint picnic. The event, open to all geocachers, is also a Community Celebration.
Mid-Illini Geocachers / Central Illinois Geocaching Association Joint Picnic and Community Celebration
Date: June 11
Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (serving shortly after 11:00)

The hosts will provide hot dogs, buns, condiments and water. Bring your own drinks. Also please bring a side dish or dessert to share (and add that to the Will Attend).
There will be a drawing for prizes. The featured prize is a trackable pirate geocoin.
