In 2013 the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) debuted and has been, with the exception 2020, an annual event which features short films from Geocachers around the world. Due to the preparations required to celebrate the events surround the 20th anniversary of Geocaching, Groundspeak has decided to take another year off and have the GIFF resume in 2023.
Not to worry, we have decided to host an unofficial GIFF event this year anyway. We will be screening the Best of GIFF reel that was released in 2020. The reel features films from 2013 to 2019 and was not shown at any official events due to restrictions during the pandemic.
The details:
When: Saturday November 5, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Where: West Biloxi Public Library
2047 Pass Rd.
Biloxi, MS 39531
The screening will start no later than 1:30PM. Run time is 1 hour, 50 minutes and the library closes at 4PM. This will give us enough time to view the films and pack before closing time.
Library Rules
This event is free and open to the public. No items can or will be sold during the event.
