Christmas is over and New Year’s is on its way. But in the meantime, December 28 is National Call a Friend (or, as it is known in geocaching circles, Phone a Friend or PAF) Day! That seems like an auspicious day (or a reasonable excuse) to get together for a beer, exchange trackables and catch up with new and long-standing geocaching friends.
They do not serve food, but they do serve beer and other, less-potent, refreshments. Purchase is not required for attendance.
