Talk about putting it off! I wanted to host my Community Celebration Event before it expires at the end of the year. With breakfast events in October and November, I hoped to keep it going and hold a December breakfast event as well. Originally, I started to make this up as a breakfast event for Saturday morning but with increasing COVID-19 numbers and the change for the November breakfast, I decided to make it an outdoor event on Friday instead. I had people suggest that I have it in one of the parks in Lindsay but being December in Ontario, I wasn’t sure that the weather would be warm enough. I moved it to a location where we could have at least a burning barrel to keep warm. There will be marshmallows, so bring your favourite roasting stick. For seating, please bring a lawnchair.
While not a breakfast, it will nonetheless be an enjoyable opportunity to see your geocaching buddies before Christmas and there will be prizes! How many will be determined by the amount of time that I can spend in my shop between now and December 1st!
