"Danger Site, Unstable - Keep out" this is how the yellow and white signs along this large fence greet you here.
I wanted to know more about what is up with the site behind the fence. Is it an abondand mine? Or old fraching site? Or is it just too many wombat holes to make it unstable?
So I called the number which is suggested for information/enquiries on the signs. They were very friendly and tried to help, in the end they said they will investigate and get back to me. I am still waiting to hear back but when I do I will update the listing.
For now the map attached is the only thing I found which had the unstableness of the site marked, but the document did not specify why that is. Though it looks like, that this is separate to the old West Belconnen Sewage Treatment Plant contamination remains (marked on the map as area AEC 3 close by).
To find GZ - find the 6 digit phone number on the yellow or white signs along the fence, which you are suposed to call for more information/enquiries. Note it down and call them...

At GZ you will have more signs and a couple horses greeting you.
