It's been a few months since I've hosted a geo-happy hour! This one will be different from my usual events, but it will be nice to meet and greet our geocaching friends while practicing social distancing.
A bit of history: Did you know Kirn Park is the site of Council Bluffs' first high school? The first Council Bluffs High School graduated its first class in 1871, but soon proved too small. It was replaced some 30 years later with a larger school at a different location, and it was demolished in 1908. The picture on the event page is an image of the original building.
Where: Kirn Park shelter (south end of the park) - 100 1/2 - 5th Ave., Council Bluffs.
