Geocache Description:

A small number of caches have been placed around Moors Valley Country Park and Forest. These caches have been placed to encourage people to visit interesting parts of the forest which they might not normally explore.

This cache is placed to near to one of the small groups of barrows situated at Moors Valley. These barrows were typically constructed during the Late Neolithic Age to the Late Bronze Age. There is a nearby information board should you like to know more.

Please replace as found. These caches are checked and monitored regularly by Forestry England staff based at Moors Valley. Have fun but also stay safe! Thank you.
