This is a fun treasure hunt through the heart of Bexley village, solving visual clues that will guide you to the cache at the end. The published coordinates will take you to St Mary's church which is the start of the route. To find the cache, take a walk from St Mary's church to St John's church to the North West, (DA5 1HX, N 51 26.550, E 0 8.630), using the most direct route between the two (see map). Examine the pictures below as you go, find the viewpoints and collect the numbers. The Geocache is at N 51 26.[Total Red], E 0 08.[Total Blue].
There are 20 numbers to collect, 10 red and 10 blue, grouped into the five stages of your walk. You can ignore any words or letters you see. Complete each stage before moving on to the next one. The hunt should take 2-3 hours to complete and the cache is less than 5 minutes walk from the end of the route. I hope you enjoy it! Please take your time and be very careful crossing the roads. Parking is available in the centre of the village. Parking is also free after 11am in resident bays and on single yellow lines in some of the side roads but check the notices to make sure. Have fun!
