My 200th published cache
Every now and then when I am hiking, I come to a spot that just says, "Camp right here for the night." Of course that is verbotten here in the Loch Raven Watershed, but you can plan to stop here for a while, have a bit of nourishment and a beverage, and contemplate retirement. If you sit here for a spell, you might see cormorants diving for food, then sitting on a fallen tree to dry out their wings. A gaggle of geese may float by, or a plump may pass noisily overhead. Great Blue Herons hangout in the cove near by, and I had the pleasure of watching one picking out her dinner this afternoon. The Loch Raven Dam is not far away. And there is a cache to find.
The walk to this one is pleasant, a narrow trail leading to the cove, then along the water. As you near GZ, you will see an area with lots of fallen trees and branches. I would check that out if I were you. The hint might help.
Container is about the size of a small peanut butter jar. Bring your own pen. Do not log a find if you did not sign or otherwise mark the cache log.
Congratulations to GnomeGCer, Kitty Chaser, AIV and Renee for co-FTF
