This series of caches is themed around some of the great science fiction/fantasy novels and writers. This novel won the 2002 Hugo and Nebula awards and has become a TV series. You will go along a nice part of the Alpine Trail in Portola Valley. All of the caches are placed within a few feet of the trail and there is no need to go near the road. There is poison oak in the area but no caches have been placed near it, but nature tends to grow so be aware.
Please replace as found and beware of muggles. This trail can be quite busy at times. Cycling and hiking the trail are good choices. Parking along Creek Park Drive is an option for this one and another one nearby.
