Welcome to another one of the many parks in the beddington area! The cache's name references a wild experience we had a couple years ago. A couple years after we moved in nearby we had a crazy thunder storm. We felt like the lightning strikes were above our house and later on we realized that they were! Lightning struck one of the five trees in this set and after the storm passed the fire dept. had to come and remove part of the tree as it was split straight down the middle! This field is a beautiful area where the neighbors often spent their summer nights flying kites and playing bocce or spike ball. I hope you take a moment to appreciate the space as you search for this cache!
Easy park and grab. Make sure to bring a pencil as the container is too small to hold one. Just a logbook can fit inside. should be available year round. Watch out for wildlife as coyotes frequent the area every now and then.
Please be mindful of the time of day that you choose to hunt this one down as it is hidden pretty close to some houses. Muggles may be tough to avoid because people may be spending time in their yards during the summer months but shouldn't be an issue. Please sign the log away from where the cache is hidden so you don't attract attention to the hiding spot, then rehide in the same place.
Congratulations to TeeleyRylee on her first FTF!
