Geocache Description:

The town of Melbourne in South Derbyshire has many churches of historical interest, and the Church Micros I set will introduce you to a few of them. Melbourne itself has some interesting historical links; Thomas Cook who is considered the founder of modern tourism was born in the town in 1808 (see the Baptist Church Micro) and in case you're wondering where the major city of Melbourne, VIC, Australia got its name from, it was so named in 1837 for Lord Melbourne, Prime Minister of Queen Victoria.

This is a bonus, not placed near any church, but somewhere else that caught my eye. There's nothing to find or information to collect at the posted co-ordinates, which are bogus, although there is another church-like structure visible. To find this cache you'll need to collect information from the 5 church micros in the town. This has given you bonus digits A, B, C, D and E with a checksum of 23. The final can then be found at

N52 4(B+C).E(B-D-A)(A+B) W001 2(A+B).(A+C)B(C+D)

It's a short drive away with parking nearby but please be careful with geokids and geopets as the road is extremely busy.
