Small/Micro container with a cool view of the American River! BYOP.
GZ is where the Auburn Dam would have been and the American river is still partially diverted here for the pump station. Very cool area! 
Several different ways to approach GZ, but a bit of a hike in and out no matter what.
Multiple trails with awesome views lead to GZ or you could even stay on paved road the whole way. Many other hides in the area.
The regular hazards like snakes, ticks, poison oak, stickers and star thistle can be found in the area and possibly some larger wildlife as well.

This new cache replaces our previous cache A Dam Good Hide! GC52XJX. Some previous searchers had mentioned the No Trespassing sign (Though that could be indicating the fenced area only as we go to the river and see others there as well), plus that cache GZ had been flooded and damaged previously as well - so this one is in a new location.
