Ici, pas d’énigmes ardues à déchiffrer, pas besoin non plus de pelles ou de pioches... cette aventure est pour toute la famille !
Une superbe promenade avec comme point de départ le parc Mauresque surplombant la ville, et comme point final l'observatoire Sainte Cécile.
Et si vous souhaitez faire toute la série, des indices pourront être récupérés dans différentes caches, afin de trouver une GEOCACHE BONUS cachées non loin du point d'arrivée !

Today we propose you to discover the history of the winter townquarter of Arcachon and its awesome houses (over 80 !) with a nice trail of 17 geocaches hidden.
No need to solve impossible riddles here, no need special tools... this adventure is for the whole family !
A nice adventure with the Mauresque parc as starting point, and an amazing viewpoint of Arcachon at the end.
If you decide to complete the serie, some hints can be found in several geocaches, allowing you to find the BONUS GEOCACHE at the end of the trail !

LA VILLA "MEYERBEER"
Située au 30 allée pasteur / allée Festal, voici une des premières villas de la ville d'hiver, photographiée ici en 1864 par Alphonse Terpereau.
Elle fut nommée d'après le nom d'un compositeur contemporain de l'époque Giacomo Meyerbeer (1791-1864).
Located at 30 allée pasteur / allée Festal, this is one of the first villas in the winter town, photographed here in 1864 by Alphonse Terpereau.
It was named after the name of a contemporary composer of the time Giacomo Meyerbeer (1791-1864)./span>

Le terrain était immense. Les croisillons n'étaient pas courant dans l'architecture locale.
Une véranda a été rajoutée au premier étage du bâtiment photographié en 1865.

La structure de base a été conservée, mais on constate quand même de nombreuses modifications.
L'immense épi de faîtage à l'origine sur le sommet de la toiture a disparu.

The huge ridge originally on the top of the roof has disappeared.
Les balcons d'origine de l'aile droite ont été transformés en pièce d'habitation.
Une fenêtre a été ajoutée dans le toit sous la cheminée. Les croisillons en bois ont été peints en blanc.
The original balconies in the right wing have been transformed into a living room.
A window has been added in the roof under the chimney. The wooden braces have been painted white.
LA VILLA "MONTESQUIEU"
Au numero 23, se trouve la villa Montesquieu, construite en 1964 pour la Compagnie du Midi.
Elle était, à l'origine, une construction austère de style "médiéval", analogue à Noémie; elle a été adoucis par l'ajout de deux lucarnes en bow-window et de galeries vitrées.
At number 23 is the Villa Montesquieu, built in 1964 for the Compagnie du Midi.
It was originally an austere "medieval" style construction, similar to Noémie; it was softened by the addition of two skylights in bow-window and glazed galleries.
LA VILLA "DAVID"
Sur la place, au 28 allée pasteur, se trouve la villa DavidCette jolie villa de style très arcachonnais que Léo Neveu a photographié avec son oeil d'artiste est située Allée Péreire (Pasteur en 2006).
Ses voisines sont les villas Mistigri (à gauche) et Noémi (à droite).
Noémi jouxte d'ailleurs la célèbre Villa Monaco où descendit Alphonse XII.
Le vaste terrain de la villa David rejoint par l'arrière l'Allée du Dr Pereyra.
On the square, at 28 allée pasteur, is the villa David This pretty villa in a very Arcachon style that Léo Neveu photographed with his artistic eye is located on Allée Péreire (Pasteur in 2006).
Its neighbors are the villas Mistigri (on the left) and Noémi (on the right).
Noémi also adjoins the famous Villa Monaco where Alfonso XII stayed.
The vast grounds of Villa David join the Allee du Dr Pereyra at the back.
LA VILLA "MYRIAM"
Cette jolie villa de style arcachonnais mélangé à un style oriental est la voisine de droite de la villa Montesquieu.
Elle est située 21 allée Pasteur sur la partie de l'ancienne Allée Émile Péreire. Elle est en face de la villa Mistigri.
This pretty Arcachon-style villa mixed with an oriental style is the neighbor to the right of the Montesquieu villa.
It is located at 21 allée Pasteur on the part of the old Allée Émile Péreire. It is in front of the Mistigri villa.
