The “Forest Color Cache” series is comprised of a number of geocaches hidden in the county forest. All caches have the following in common:
-Very easy finds
-Parking space off the road
-Near or under a rock beacon
-Not always winter friendly but still possible to find
-Not related to any specific challenge, multi or mystery cache
-Plenty of biting flies, mosquitoes, and ticks
A few years back, I found a cache called “Insidious Violet” In the Eau Claire County Forest. That cache is where I got the ideas for this series. Special thanks to the CO of Insidious Violet. I hope that one is still there.
