Dinosaur Valley is full of amazing flora and fauna! Everything from the massive burr oak trees by the river to the thirsty junipers in the amphitheater. Large oak trees often require a minimum of 50 gallons of water a day and as much as 300! Junipers are often hated for their thirstiness and their ability to take over as a native invasive. Either way, park goers are happy to enjoy their shade, no matter how large or small.
Dinosaur Valley is home to a full day worth of caching, it gets hot and you should always bring plenty of water with you! This cache may be close to a parking lot but its NO EXCEPTION! The park is always better explored WITH A BUDDY, especially when caching!
Entance fees and often pre-purchased reservations are needed to enter the park!
