This cache is at the second highest point in Onondaga County, Fellows Hill. The Onondaga Spur of the Finger Lakes Trail used to pass through here before it was rerouted south, presumably because of extensive logging. Now that the trees are felled and the blazes are orange, the trail is quieter, a picturesque spur of the spur from Spruce Pond and back. The tranquility of the top, and the steep ascent, make this a worthy outing, geocache or not. The container is a small box. Hint: it's not the trail register.
